Story


‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is a movie starring Vijay in the lead role. After the super hit movie ‘Pokkiri’, Vijay had signed for ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’. There are two heroines in the movie - Shriya and Namitha. There is a buzz that the movie features Vijay in dual roles. If the news is true, then Azhagiya Tamil Magan will be first movie that will have Vijay handling two roles. ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is Bharathan’s debut as a director. He was earlier an assistant director and dialogue writer under Dharani. He has worked along with Vijay in the movie Ghilli. Another thing that is a plus to ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is that it is the 45th movie of actor Vijay.
‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is the first movie that brings together Vijay and Shriya. Appachan is the producer of the movie. AR Rahman scores the music for the movie and thus the audio of the movie is expected to do well. ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ was officially launched on 24th of January with a lighting ceremony. The shooting of the movie commenced in February and is expected to be completed in the month of July. The movie is slated for release on August 15th, 2007. ‘Azhagiya Tamil Magan’ is expected to be an action entertainer with racy dialogues and good storyline.
